Plum dumplings with poppy seeds

Who still knows the plum dumplings from grandma! I loved her and continue to love her from mom today. How is it with you?

Preparation

  1. Cook and puree potatoes. Allow to cool and then mix with flour, 30 grams of butter, a pinch of salt and egg. Knead everything into a smooth dough.
  2. Stone the plums and place a sugar cube in the middle.
  3. Divide the dough into 18 parts. Wrap each plum in a single piece of dough and place the dumpling in a pot of bubbling water and boil until they float on the surface, then remove the dumplings from the water and drain well.
  4. Bathe each dumpling in poppy seeds all around.
