Homemade sauerkraut with Krakow

  1. Cut white cabbage into small pieces.
  2. Put bay leaf, peppercorns, juniper berries, sugar and white wine vinegar in a large saucepan and cover completely with water and cook for about 20 minutes until the herb is firm to the bite. If necessary, add some water.
  3. Cut the Krakowers into slices and heat briefly and serve with the sauerkraut.
